Memberberry Privacy Policy

Appberry provides Memberberry, a membership operations SaaS platform. This Privacy Policy applies to Memberberry and related websites operated by Appberry.

• Customer means an organization subscribed to Memberberry.
• End User means an individual using Memberberry or included in Customer Data.
• Personal Data means information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to an individual.
• Customer Data means data submitted by a Customer and its End Users.

For site visitors and direct business interactions, Appberry generally acts as controller or business. For Customer Data inside Memberberry, Appberry generally acts as processor or service provider on the Customer's instructions.

• Account and profile data such as name, email, phone, organization details, roles, and permissions.
• Membership records such as identifiers, status, dates, addresses, preferences, and custom fields.
• Event and program data such as registrations, attendance, choices, and accessibility notes.
• Billing context such as invoices, receipts, refunds, transaction status, and provider identifiers.
• Communications and files such as preferences, messages, submissions, uploads, and exports.
• Usage and device data such as IP address, browser, pages viewed, feature use, timestamps, and referrers.

• Operate accounts, transactions, onboarding, support, and troubleshooting.
• Detect fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents.
• Measure performance, test quality, and improve product capabilities.
• Send service updates, security notices, receipts, and permitted product communications.
• Comply with law, enforce terms, prevent misuse, and protect legal interests.

• To Customers and authorized users based on configured permissions.
• To service providers and subprocessors under contractual safeguards.
• To Customer-enabled integrations under Customer settings.
• For legal, safety, and business transfer events where required.

Cookies and similar technologies support sessions, preferences, security, and analytics. Browser settings can control cookies. Where required, qualifying Global Privacy Control signals are honored for applicable tracking opt-outs.

Appberry applies reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards such as access controls, encryption in transit, monitoring, and backups. No system is completely secure.

Personal Data is retained only as needed for Service delivery, legal obligations, accounting, dispute resolution, and contract enforcement. An organization that does not upgrade after its 60-day trial is suspended for 30 days so authorized administrators can export content or upgrade. Customer Data is then permanently deleted, except records Appberry must retain by law or for security, accounting, or dispute purposes.

Memberberry is not directed to children as a primary audience. If you believe a child's data was collected improperly, contact us.

For privacy requests, email privacy@appberry.dev and identify your relationship to Memberberry. Identity verification may be required before we fulfill a request.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates may be communicated by email, in-product messaging, or another reasonable notice.
